This week-end was Roo's first USDAA trial. Our runs were not perfect but she had awesome parts to each run and the mistakes were just baby dog things. She has the ability to nail her weave entry. She did pop out at the 10th pole in 2 runs, but then she stayed in the rest of the week-end. She has a solid stay at the start. I am holding her contacts for now. Each time she is 2o2o her lil tail is wagging. She is one happy dog. She looks and listens for direction. We were pairs today with up and coming dog Speck. We Q'd :) The upside of the D/W in gamblers was surrounded by a tunnel. I told her to walk and she was able to differentiate between the two. I need to work on her exit from the collapased tunnel. I haven't had it out much so she really doesn't know what to expect. Guess what comes out this week!
Heather was at the trial and she took a ton of pics of the PNW CPBC's that were at the trial. She is an awesome photographer. I am looking forward to seeing them.
Our next USDAA trial is in Prineville, OR in June. I am looking forward to it.
